Mic Gunderson has been involved in EMS since 1975 in various clinical, teaching, leadership, and consulting roles with third service, fire, private, and military EMS systems, research teams, colleges, EMS medical direction groups, professional associations, and consulting firms. He is currently the President of the Center for Systems Improvement and the EMS Quality Academy. He is also the Chief Strategy Officer for the Cambridge Consulting Group and serves as the Editor-In-Chief of the International Journal of Paramedicine.

Adam Heinz is the Chief Operating Officer for REMSA Health, bringing more than two decades of experience defined by transformational leadership, innovation, and a deep commitment to advancing mobile healthcare delivery. He began his career with the organization in 2002 as an emergency medical technician (EMT), building a strong clinical foundation that continues to inform his strategic and operational approach today.

Over the course of his career, Adam has held a range of progressive leadership roles—including Clinical Development Manager, Director of Clinical Communications, and Executive Director of Integrated Healthcare—where he consistently drove forward-thinking initiatives that enhanced clinical performance, operational effectiveness, and patient-centered care. He has played a pivotal role in advancing clinical protocols for out-of-hospital providers and in designing innovative alternative care pathways that ensure patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost. His leadership during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic—most notably in leading the rapid development of the Washoe County COVID Call Center—demonstrated his ability to navigate complexity with agility and vision.

As COO, Adam oversees REMSA Health’s core operations, including ground ambulance services and system deployment, the Regional Emergency Communications Center, clinical services, Care Flight rotor, fixed-wing, ground Critical Care, and the Center for Integrated Health and Community Education. He is focused on driving operational excellence while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability—positioning the organization to meet the evolving needs of the communities it serves.

Adam holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Master of Business Administration. He maintains his certification as a Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP) and is certified as a Nevada State EMS Instructor and an Advanced Emergency Medical Dispatcher (AEMD). He also contributes to the advancement of the profession at a national level on the Board of Directors for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

Dr. Lindsay Judah, DPA, CFO, CTO, CEMSO, MIFireE, currently serves as the Fire Rescue Division Chief for a Florida metro fire rescue agency. She also serves as a Fire & Emergency Services consultant working with national and international organizations. She previously served as a District Fire Chief, as well as a Training Captain for an ISO 1 and CFAI accredited fire department, an EMS/Training Lieutenant, Engineer, Firefighter/Paramedic and Paramedic for a regional hospital in Florida’s capital city. She also participated as a Fire Explorer with Post #952, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue.

She is a member of the Fire Department Safety Officers Association, Florida Fire Chiefs’ Association, International Association of Fire Chiefs - Safety, Health, and Survival Section, the International College of Advanced Practice Paramedics (I-CAPP), Florida City and County Management Association, Florida EMS Advisory Council Data Committee, and Pinellas County EMS Advisory Council. A selection of her certifications includes Critical Care Paramedic (UF), Muma College of Business Certificate Programs (USF), Leadership 101 (Troy), FEMA Continuity of Operations Planning, Fire Officer IV, Florida Safety Officer, Hazmat & USAR Technician, Instructor III, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and Peer Support (IAFF, Illinois, and UCF).

She holds a doctorate in Public Administration and serves as a graduate professor for her alumna, Valdosta State University, teaching courses in Organizational Leadership, Political Science, and Public Administration. Her doctoral research focused on innovation in the fire service, specifically UAV programs. Her master’s program included an internship with Emergency Management in Tallahassee, FL. She is a two-time alumna of St. Petersburg College, completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Safety Administration, as well as an Associate of Arts in General Studies. She is an active volunteer in the community, freelance writer, an Everyone Goes Home® Advocate and Fellow, supports the NFR for Cancer, serves on the Awards and Scholarship Committee for the Florida City and County Management Association, Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA) Advocate, 11th ed. Team Member and Peer Reviewer with the Center for Public Safety Excellence, is an International Fire Service Training Association Executive Board member and has served on the validation committees Chief Officer 5th ed. & Hazardous Materials for First Responders 7th ed..

Todd LeDuc is a nationally recognized fire service leader, public safety wellness advocate, and retired Florida fire chief. LeDuc retired after nearly 30 years with Broward County (FL) Fire Rescue, where he rose through the ranks to serve in senior leadership roles including Assistant and Deputy Fire Chief. Throughout his career, he became widely known for his advocacy of firefighter health, occupational cancer prevention, behavioral wellness, and line-of-duty death reduction initiatives.

Chief LeDuc holds a master’s degree in executive Fire Service Leadership and carries the professional designations of Chief Fire Officer (CFO) and Fellow of the Institute of Fire Engineers (FIFirE). He has served for more than two decades with the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Safety, Health & Survival Section and has contributed extensively to firefighter wellness policy, NFPA occupational health standards, and early-detection medical screening initiatives. A respected national speaker and published author, LeDuc has contributed to numerous industry publications and educational programs focused on firefighter cancer prevention, cardiovascular health, behavioral health, and organizational leadership. He also served as editor of the book Surviving the Fire Service and has worked closely with organizations including the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the First Responder Center for Excellence.

In 2025, he was appointed CEO of the Life Scan Wellness Centers, where he now oversees strategic growth, operational leadership, and advancement of preventive health programs for firefighters, EMS professionals, and law enforcement personnel nationwide.
