The Baldrige Quality Awards Foundation is an independent, non governmental organization.
Our mission is to objectively recognize organizations whose customer and workforce engagement results are in the top 75th percentile ranking within their industry.
Organizations can seek recognition throughout the United States, within all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Our History
Our journey began in 2013, recognizing Florida organizations for customer and workforce engagement results in the top 75th percentile within their industry.
Because of the strong demand to offer a similar, independent, non governmental role model recognition program, we expanded eligibility to organizations throughout the United States.
Our Team
We are lead by an all volunteer board of diverse, industry specific, expert judges who are responsible for:
- Developing our customer and employee engagement role model recognition criteria;
- Review the quality award applications;
- Select the annual role model organizations.
The Board’s direction is implemented by our Executive Director who is responsible for managing the administrative functions of the Baldrige Quality Awards Foundation.

The Baldrige Quality Awards Foundation operates by a strong set of values that guides our daily actions.
